I’m blogging on this rainy day because many people have expressed an interest in blogging about our Dolcino concept.
So many, in fact, that I’m running a bloggers’ event on Sunday 27th September.
Kick off and sampling of the taster menu at 3.30pm
The event kicks off at 3.30pm when we get everyone seated in order to serve up a range of taster dishes. On the menu will be tasters from the following dishes:
• Sweet and savoury waffles
• Small taster cups of our range of ice cream flavours
• Ice cream and sorbet sundae tasters
• Cakes and savoury snacks.
We’ll also be providing one drink per blogger on the house. This could be one of our Italian coffees, including the popular ‘affogato’ coffee (double espresso with a scoop of ice cream), a soft drink or a cheeky prosecco. You choose.
Francesco’s talk at 4pm
At 4pm Francesco, joint owner and the creator of the Dolcino concept, will give a short talk about Dolcino. Coming from an Italian family of ice cream makers and coffee bar owners, he is excited to present to you his passion for ice cream and coffee, for customer service and for serving his local community.
There will also be a short video all about the Dolcino experience to watch at your leisure. The video also shows you how we make and serve our ice cream using a world famous Carpigiani ice cream maker.
Networking and getting to know the Dolcino family
From 4:30pm you are welcome to stay and talk to us, to our team or to the other bloggers.
The event ends at 5:30pm and we have some goody bags to take away containing information about Dolcino.
If you don’t have time to come for the whole session, that’s fine, you’re welcome to just drop in for a quick taster or to have a look around.
